The Holy Father emphasized that the first way of evangelization is the witness of one's own life. Holiness of life is a precious gift that you can offer your faith-communities.
 
This witness is rooted on a triple love: of the Word of God, of the Church and of the world.
 
The challenges of the present time require more than ever virtuous priests, full of the spirit of prayer and sacrifice, with a solid formation and dedicated to the service of Christ and of the Church through the exercise of charity.

The priest has the great responsibility to appear irreproachable in his conduct before the faithful, following Christ closely with the support and encouragement of the faithful, above all with his prayer, understanding and spiritual affection. During this Season of Easter we want to pray for our priests and for more vocations to the Priesthood.

Should you child ask you permission to become a priest, what would your answer be? Have you noticed that the last Cantonese-speaking priest we had were  Caucasian? If we don’t have vocations to the priesthood, could it be because we don’t hold in esteem and show respect to our priests?

A community has the priests that it deserves.
