Father Michael,

I got up this morning and for whatever reason, you were the first person in my mind. As I was reflecting of my homily tonight, there are so many thoughts that are lingering such as service, vulnerability, Christ-like attitude to one another, our deepest humanity, humility and of course, the privilege that I have for being a priest.

Surely, I am not the perfect one, but I still believe that the Lord will make me one some other time. If not, then perhaps I have to remain faithful whatever life brings me.

Thank you for being a friend and a father. I thank you for walking with me in this journey. Thank you for being a priest for me and thank you for allowing me to see Christ present in you.
