God, come to our aid!
Lord, make haste to help us.

O glorious St. Rocco, noble prince and our protector, you were born signed with the sign of the Cross engraved on your chest to show how it was engraved on innocent heart. Help me to escape, with the sign of the Cross, the chastisements prepared for those you follow Christ in the journey of life and obtain for me those graces which I need and desire.

Turn your gaze, o St. Rocco
On the people who fall prostrated at your fee,
And let a ray of your goodness
Come on them from Heaven.

Glorious St. Rocco, noble prince and our heavenly protector. Your heart was full with the love for God and your neighbor  and that love prompted you to the service of sick people, whom you healed with the sign of the Cross. Obtain for me that the law of love may be engraved on my heart also, so that I may help and heal my neighbor in their needs

When God, in His just anger
Threatens us with sickness and death,
Please, stretch out you strong arm and protect your people.

Glorious St. Rocco, noble prince and our heavenly protector. You suffered to be mistreated and considered an enemy\’s spy in that very city where you were lord and ruler. You accepted to me ill-treated even by your uncle and died in a dark dungeon, forsaken by everybody, but God and the Blessed Trinity. Obtain for us, from our merciful God, patience in our hardship and surrender  to His holy will. May your people live free from earthly plagues and from sin, which is worst than any physical sickness.

Grant me, for your sake, that pardon and peace

Concluding Prayer

Glorious St. Rocco, noble prince and our heavenly protector. You despised your noble rank, wealth, honor, pleasures to be trained in the fight against evil and gain Christian virtues, listen to the prayers your people offer you in this solemn Novena and obtain for us the special grace to avoid sin and imitate your virtues.

From your lofty throne of glory in heaven shower your people with your blessings. Protect our families and all those who are far from us in foreign lands   to provide for their families. Protect them and watch over them so to thy may remain always attached to their families and their homeland. Drive away from our families all discords and divisions, earthquake, tempests, sudden death and all adversities. Bless our fields and farms, our cattle and our beasts and keep your people always in your lovely care.

Pray for us, St. Rocco so that we can benefit of the blessings of Christ

Protect your people, Lord, always and through the intercession of St. Rocco keep us unharmed in body and soul. Through Christ our Lord. AMEN
