From Fr. Denny, Japan

Dear Father Michael,

Thank you for your message...On Tuesday, April 7th, we went to the cathedral of Fukuoka, 8 of us, the Xaverians who are in the diocese of Fukuoka. We renewed our priestly vows in the hands of the local bishop.

I have been in Japan for 8 months...The language school is very demanding but it is worth it. Please, pray for my perseverance for this duty.

So far, I am able to read the Japanese character with confidence, Hiragana, Katakana and some Kanji and I am able to offer Mass in the local language.

I am very grateful also to behave been granted this priesthood vocation with the Xaverians...with all graces that I continue to receive until now...it is a wonderful one. That I can reach others who are very different with me...it is a incredible one...

That's all my sharing, the joy that I have here that I could share with you and other friends at St. Therese that has been my history and still on my fresh memory...I treasure my experience in the USA; it is a hidden treasure that I always carry with me...the love that I always received from you and Father Aniello and others both gentle and sometimes very hard to digest it, now I am able to say THANKS GOD and to all of you my older confreres who are part of my life...

Greeting for others who are part of my life in the past and now and also fur sure in the future...
HAPPY EASTER,

Fr. Denny,sx
