2008 Archdiocesan Annual Catholic Appeal Begins

The Lord is My Light . . . Psalm 27:1

Parishioners throughout the Archdiocese of Chicago either have or will soon receive a mailing from Cardinal George. He will ask that Catholics throughout the Archdiocese make a pledge to the 2008 Annual Catholic Appeal.

The Appeal not only funds the operations of the Archdiocese, it provides services which support many of the ministries offered in the Catholic parishes of Cook and Lake Counties.

Our financial support is important. The success of the 2008 Annual Catholic Appeal depends on the gifts given by each of us to support the Archdiocese. Each of our gifts also enables the Catholics of the Archdiocese to reach beyond their parish boundaries in service to the communities in which we live and where our Churches are located.
We bring the light of Christ to many who are served through education, ministry and other services offered by the Catholic Church in the Archdiocese of Chicago.

Your generosity to the 2007 Annual Catholic Appeal through St. Therese Chinese Church is very much appreciated and I am confident that also this year our Parish will continue to be generous.

The Xaverian Missionary Fathers at St. Therese’s encourage you to respond to the Cardinal’s request and make a generous pledge to the 2008 Annual Catholic Appeal.
